About Peas 'n' Pod  



Peas 'N' Pod was established in 1996 by business partners Catherine O'Brien and Glenda Griswold. Both have extensive backgrounds in the catering business and have served the needs of many discerning clients.

Catherine O'Brien received her formal chef's training and earned her Culinary Degree with high honors from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. Some of Catherine's 25 years of experience include Executive Chef of the University Club in Baltimore, Maryland, Chef Garde Manger at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida and Corporate Catering Chef for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

Glenda Griswold brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Peas ‘n Pod. Her credentials include In-House Catering Director at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and General Manager of several fine dining establishments along the eastern seaboard. Her experience includes professional interior design, and her elegant sense of style is evident in every Peas ‘n Pod engagement.

In addition to our hands-on owners, Peas 'n' Pod has gathered a seasoned team of talented professionals to round out our staff, including an Executive Chef with catering and restaurant experience, a Catering Sales manager with extensive experience in Five Star Plus hotels, and full-time kitchen prep and sanitation employees.

We are committed to providing the highest degree of personal service and attention to detail, so that our guests will always experience finely prepared, contemporary cuisine created with fresh ingredients of the highest quality
